Reviving Konrad Curze?

Post by Moonreaper666 on 17/6/2016, 01:22

Why hasn't the Chaos Gods or a powerful Traitor Primarch or Daemon revived the Night Lord?

Its not like his soul was destroyed unlike Horus

Because he wanted to die, and I don't think anyone wanted him to live.
And because GW haven't yet felt the need to do that. It might come when they decide to anyway.

I suspect that is the main reason. If I had to add anything else, I'd say that it also helps balance the number of traitor and active Primarchs that might return at the End Times. For sure Horus and Ferris Manus and Sanguinius are dead, so chalk up Conrad Cruze and aren't we even? (I feel like I'm forgetting somebody else who had a definitive, we have more-than-just-a-hand death)

Vulkan died at least once, Corax went away probably never to return (but he might change his mind), and someone is held in Trazyns own collection that either will not come, or will have to be sprung first.

Oh I intend to let loose that warrior when I reclaim our Wraithbone Quior from that foul thief.

Vulkan is an insane perpetual, I thought. I also figured that, somehow, his Salamanders would be able to restore him to sanity by collecting Vulkan's relics or something. Like I said, when enough people believe something in this setting, it is likely to happen.

Like a serpent.  The keeper of hidden knowledge, both beautiful and utterly deadly.

(For those reading this who might not know, Eldar Myth states that Serpents exist in both the physical and psychic planes simultaneously and thus knows all secrets past and present.)

Pretty much like cats in real life, but they are way too dickish to tell us about them. Very Happy

Some cats. They are my favorite pet and man have I met some dumb cats in my lifetime. Some people don't believe me when I say that. But like humans, some of them are smart some of them are really dumb.

For example, I once taught a roommate's cat to head-butt your fist any time you hold out your fist and just say "Rob-Cat. Pound it." It took about six months to teach him that trick (one he was willing to learn, that cat loved smashing his head into stuff - like a jock). During that same time-span I tried teaching that same roommate's other cat his name. It never took. Slice was just too dumb to make the connection of: that noise (his name) means he gets one of those cat treats he loves.

I refuse to have that discussion, my two cats would probably just murder me in my sleep if I ever suggested they are dumb. Razz

Which, after consideration, prooves they aren't. Smile
And they're totally not standing by looking what I write. Razz
Also we can have a cat topic somewhere more apropriate than Lore Questions section. Very Happy

True. I've derailed this thread enough. I just enjoy telling that story, because how often do you hear about teaching a cat to do a trick? Very Happy

I don't know. Is it anything different than teaching human a trick?

And that brings us back around to our main topic! Laughing
I'd argue it's easier than teaching a human - but not by much. But we could ask Conrad Cruze if he was alive again, somehow, as he seemed to have a ton of problems with teaching humans the trick of not doing crime.
